How it tells the public
Same as Burlington Main (VT-Alert, Facebook/X @BTVDPW, Front Porch Forum) plus the state ANR system | Statewide: every VT permittee must post a public alert at https://anrweb.vt.gov/DEC/WWInventory/SewageOverflows.aspx within 1 hour of discovery (10 V.S.A. § 1295(b)).
