The overflow resulted from improper valve sequencing during the clarifier changeover process performed by an on-site employee. The overflow was fully contained on-site within the footprint of the clarifier and an adjacent excavated area designated for future facility upgrades. No impact to nearby water bodies occurred. All overflowed material has been recovered and returned to the treatment process. The affected area was cleaned, washed down, and lime was applied for stabilization.
