1. Reported wastewater outlet
Operator named in the record: OCUD/SOUTH WRF. Outlet: “PSF3167 Seaworld 09-06-2026”. Location: 28.41900, -81.45400; location source: given in the source record, accurate to about 100 metres.
Outfall: a pipe or outlet where wastewater enters a water body.
2. Waters named in the notice
The notice names no water. No receiving water: the report says the discharge did not reach a water. The report is kept here but is not placed on a water and colours none on the map.
3. Estimated downstream stretch
We estimate routes only on rivers before they become tidal. We do not estimate routes through tidal water or lakes.
Map sources: water outlines and launches from OpenBoatLaunch and OpenStreetMap contributors (Open Database License); wastewater outlets from EPA and state records; downstream estimates by DirtyWaterWatch using U.S. Geological Survey maps and flow data. Base map: OpenFreeMap and OpenMapTiles.

"INCIDENT_NUMBER": 20268879,
"INCIDENT_NAME": "PSF3167 Seaworld 09-06-2026",
"INCIDENT_REPORT": "Incident Description: The discharge was caused by the failure of a temporary containment measure associated with a damaged 30-inch OCU reinforced concrete force main. The force main had previously developed a hole at the crown due to deterioration of the concrete pipe wall. A temporary dirt berm was constructed around the failure area to contain wastewater surfacing from the damaged force main. A portable pump was installed to stop the discharge and maintain operation of the system. The temporary berm subsequently failed, allowing wastewater to flow over unpaved surfaces and into an adjacent stormwater swale, where it pooled. Field Services staff initiated recovery of the pooled wastewater. To improve containment and prevent additional off-site flow, a temporary culvert was constructed to direct wastewater from the force main failure area to the pump station master manhole, where it can be conveyed through the wastewater collection system. Repairs to the 30-inch reinforced concrete force main were completed on September 16, 2026. Following completion of the repairs, Field Services staff have continued cleanup activities in the impacted area, including removing and properly disposing of impacted soil from the surrounding area.
