  "INCIDENT_NUMBER": 20269665,
  "INCIDENT_NAME": "Lift Station Malfunction",
  "INCIDENT_REPORT": "On September 23, 2026, at approximately 1:00 PM, management observed water coming up from manholes located in the parking lot on the property. After investigating the issue, it was determined that the property's lift station pumps were not operating. Attempts were made to restart the pumps; however, the pumps were not receiving electrical power. At approximately 1:08 PM, management contacted Josko Services, the property's contracted vendor responsible for lift station inspections and preventative maintenance. Josko Services arrived on the property at approximately 3:30 PM to inspect the lift station and troubleshoot the issue. Upon inspection, the technician determined that an electrical issue was preventing the lift station pumps from operating. During this visit, management learned that Josko Services had identified a malfunction during its previous inspection. However, management had not been notified of the electrical issue or provided with repair estimates for approval prior to the lift station failure. Due to the electrical failure, management instructed Josko Services to obtain a temporary lift station pump so the system could remain operational while permanent repairs were being addressed. The temporary pump arrived on the property at approximately 9:00 PM. However, the Josko Services technician did not have the correct size hose required to properly connect the temporary pump to the lift station and was unable to obtain the appropriate hose until the following morning. During the overnight period, using the hose that was available, untreated water from the lift station was discharged into the parking lot storm-water drainage system. It is estimated that approximately 10,000 gallons were discharged during this period. Of that amount, approximately 5,000 gallons were recovered. These quantities are estimates based on the information available and are not exact measurements. The correct hose for the temporary pump was obtained and installed, and the temporary pumping system was placed into operation on the morning of September 24, 2026.During the overnight hours of September 26 into September 27, 2026, the temporary pump stopped operating, resulting in additional overflow into the parking lot storm-water drainage system. Josko Services was contacted again during the early morning hours of September 27 and arrived on the property at approximately 1:30 PM to troubleshoot the temporary pump. It was determined that the temporary pump had run out of diesel fuel. At approximately 4:30 PM, diesel fuel was added, and the temporary pump was returned to operation. During the early morning hours of September 28, 2026, management received another report that the temporary pump had stopped operating. Josko Services was contacted between approximately 8:00 AM and 9:00 AM and requested to return to the property. At that time, no additional overflow was occurring. Upon inspection, the Josko Services technician again reported that the temporary pump was out of diesel fuel and advised management that they believed fuel may have been removed from the equipment. As a precaution, management installed a lock to restrict access to the temporary pump and its fuel supply. Since the lock was installed and the pump was refueled, no additional operational issues with the temporary pump have been reported. The underlying lift station failure was determined to involve faulty electrical components that prevented the permanent pumps from operating properly. The necessary electrical components are scheduled to be replaced on October 2, 2026. Once those repairs are completed, the permanent lift station pumps will be tested to confirm that the system is operating properly before the temporary pumping equipment is removed. Management has continued to monitor the lift station and coordinate with Josko Services while the permanent repairs are being completed. Repairs to electrical components scheduled for Friday, October 2, 2026.",
