The station?s emergency generator activated as designed and maintained operations during the outage. Upon restoration of power, an electrical imbalance occurred, causing the pump motor to trip. As a result, pumping operations were interrupted and the wet well level increased until approximately 10,600 gallons of wastewater overflowed into an adjacent low-lying area. Crews responded promptly and were able to fully recover the overflow. The affected area was then cleaned, disinfected, and deodorized.
