In order to alleviate the overflow at the Town Branch Pump Station the pumps were shut down at the Old Jonesville Pump Station which caused the overflow to occur. The PSA felt this would be better due to the location being more isolated and not causing any direct health risk or panic. The PSA estiated the overflow to be approximately 6-8,000 gallons. The overflow did not reach state waters. A pump was rented and put into place which stopped the overflow. The incident was closed on June 11, 2026.",
