"incident_comment": "On June 19, 2026, [name removed], Operator at the Clintwood WWTP, provided email notification reporting that on June 19, 2025, between 7:00am and 9:45am, a small number of solids were abnormally discharged into the Cranes Nest River from the Clintwood WWTP. Total amount of rainfall was 1.80\". Although staff tried to abate the flow, some solids left the clarifier and entered the contact tank. When the contact tank was turned on, the settled material in the tanks stirred up and was discharged in the effluent. An MLSS test on effluent during the discharge period showed a concentration of 200 mg/l which calculated to 28,875 gallons. Data leading up to the forecasted rain event showed good clarifier settling and MLSS concentrations within the normal range for this facility. The effluent has since cleared, and staff will drain the contact tanks to eliminate any remaining solids once flows return to normal. The incident was closed on June 24, 2026.",
