"incident_comment": "A sanitary sewer overflow occurred on September 6, 2026, from a temporary bypass system located near 1604 Glenside Drive. The bypass was installed by a County contractor to convey wastewater around the sewer segment between SMH101NE019 and SMH101NE012. This segment is blocked as a result of a collapsed concrete sewer pipe and is scheduled for replacement. \n\nThe overflow was caused by the failure of a coupling on the bypass pump discharge line. The temporary bypass had been installed in advance of planned work across Glenside Avenue to replace the collapsed sewer segment. \n\nCounty staff were notified of the overflow at approximately 6:49 a.m. on Sunday, September 6, 2026. The County contractor responsible for the bypass responded and repaired the failed connection by approximately 8:35 a.m., at which time the overflow ceased. \n\nThe estimated discharge volume was approximately 185 gallons. The affected area was cleaned, and no adverse impacts associated with the overflow have been observed.",
