"incident_comment": "A sewage overflow occurred from MH# 052NE009 located at 5700 Old Osborne Turnpike (Almond Creek Sewage Pumping Station). The overflow was discovered at 6:45 PM on September 12, 2026. The spill resulted from excessive rainfall that occurred on September 12th, 2026. The overflow ceased after the rain diminished. The spill entered Almond Creek. \n\nThe overflow began on September 12, 2026 at approximately 6:45 PM and ended 210 minutes later at approximately 10:15 PM on September 12, 2026. With an average flow rate of 120 GPM, approximately 25,200 gallons of sewage were spilled. The area surrounding the spill was cleaned and lime was applied. No adverse effects were noted.\n\nA CIP project is scheduled to be bid in early 2026 to upgrade the station and increase its capacity from approximately 3 MGD to 7 MGD, with the expectation that this will reduce the frequency and magnitude of overflows at this station",
