"incident_comment": "On October 3, 2026 at 11:18 AM, American Water responded to a report of a possible water main break. Upon arrival, it was determined that a sewer force main failed. American Water reported the overflow to Department of Environmental Quality on October 3, 2026, at 1:46 PM. After receiving the call, American Water staff turned off the upstream sewage lift station (Duty 2) which isolated any further unauthorized discharging. A contractor made the necessary repairs. It is estimated that 470 gallons of clear liquid pooled and was contained in the immediate area. No untreated sewage reached a state body of water. Repairs were made to the force main and the area was disinfected with a 1% bleach solution and hydrated lime was also applied.\n\nOn October 5, 2026. Facility sent a letter to the WC manager detailing the IR, repairs procedures and clean-up. No further action is necessary.",
