"INCIDENT_NAME": "Wastewater Overflow near 122 S. Rome Ave.",
"INCIDENT_REPORT": "On Wednesday, September 23, 2026, the City of Tampa Wastewater Department became aware of a wastewater overflow near 122 S. Rome Ave. due to a broken mainline. The mainline was damaged by Premier Drilling, a private contractor that was directional boring and installing underground utilities. The overflow started at approximately 11:44am and ceased at 2:11pm after the gravity mainline was plugged. The volume of the overflow was estimated at 1,470 gallons. The overflow discharged from the broken mainline and entered a storm vault that was broken as well. Sewer cleaners were able to vacuum approximately 1,000 gallons of the overflow from a downstream storm drain and emptied back into the collection system. There was no evidence that any of the overflow reached surface waters.",
